marque’s network of showrooms

To commemorate the five-year anniversary, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
reflects on the remarkable events, achievements and highlights since
opening its doors

“Mayfair has long been the home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars; this
part of London has real meaning for the brand, indelibly associated
with the marque’s co-founder, The Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls.
Following a relocation and extensive redesign, five years ago we
unveiled our new showroom at 50 Berkeley Street. Since opening the
dealership here, we have created some remarkable brand experiences
for our clients and won several global and regional awards for our
contribution to the marque’s success. I would like to thank the team
for all their hard work and determination over the last five
years.”
Claus Andersen, Brand Director, Rolls-Royce Motor
Cars London

Mayfair has a long-standing connection with the marque; The Hon.
Charles Stewart Rolls was born in Hill Street in 1877, and the
headquarters of Rolls-Royce Ltd was located at 14/15 Conduit Street –
only a short distance from today’s showroom on Berkeley Street – for
much of the twentieth century.

Five years ago, after extensive research, planning and
restoration, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London opened its doors at its
current location. Since unveiling the new showroom, with its elegant
and contemporary design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London has been
awarded several prestigious accolades for the team’s commitment to
providing clients with excellent service and outstanding client
experiences. From exclusive parties and events, to showcasing the
pinnacle of contemporary craft for London Craft Week, Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars London has enjoyed a remarkable five years in its current
location, in W1.

Highlights from the past five years include:

GLOBAL RECOGNITION

Since unveiling its new visual identity in 2021, Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars London has received seven regional and global awards for
its contribution to the marque’s global success and delivery of
personalised client experiences. In 2022, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
London was named Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Global Dealer of the Year –
the second time it received the accolade. This year, it was named
Global Bespoke Dealer of the Year, recognising the team’s expertise in
guiding clients through Rolls-Royce’s renowned personalisation
process, working in close partnership with the Bespoke Collective of
designers and craftspeople at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood to
realise the most ambitious individual commissions.

CELEBRATING CONTEMPORARY CRAFTSMANSHIP

At the very heart of the Rolls-Royce marque lies a deep
commitment to creativity and artisanal excellence, resulting in an
unrivalled client experience regarding the commissioning of truly
unique and personal motor cars. It is fitting, then, that over the
last five years, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London has supported London
Craft Week, transforming the showroom to showcase the exceptional
works of craftsmanship designed and handmade by Rolls-Royce’s artisans
and designers. Each year an entirely different yet exquisite example
of craftsmanship has been created, illustrating the broad scope of the
marque’s Bespoke capabilities. From a hand-painted fascia inspired by
the shores of the Riviera, to an exquisite 3D artwork inspired by the
rich and remarkable flora and fauna of the British Isles, the showroom
has celebrated contemporary creativity and hosted craftsmanship events
for clients and media.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London will once again participate in
this year’s London Craft Week. To celebrate the twelfth year of the
event, artisans from the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood have created
an intricate display, featuring two highly Bespoke Galleries, inspired
by the world of haute couture and jewellery design. The exhibition
will be on display at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, from 11 to 17 May 2026.

Press Contact: Isabel Matthews
Tel: +447815245127
E-mail: isabel.matthews@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Corporate,United Kingdom,Press Release

“No motor car has played such a pivotal role in shaping
automotive and cultural history as the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Over
eight generations spanning 100 years – a remarkable anniversary
we’re honouring throughout 2025 – it has represented the very best
in engineering, comfort and personal expression for its owners, and
won admirers around the world. Goodwood Revival – on the doorstep of
the Home of Rolls-Royce – is the perfect setting in which to
celebrate this extraordinary motor car and its continuing legacy,
with five of the most distinctive and historically important
Phantoms ever created on public display. They vividly illustrate the
aesthetic, technical and emotional through-lines that connect the
original ‘New Phantom’ created by Henry Royce in 1925 to the highly
Bespoke Phantom commissions we bring to life for our clients a
century later.”

Andrew Ball, Head of Corporate Relations, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars continues its year-long
programme marking the centenary of its pinnacle product, Phantom, at
this weekend’s Goodwood Revival.

The centrepiece of the marque’s annual presence at the event
will be a display on the Aerodrome Lawn, consisting of five
magnificent Phantoms representing key moments and developments in the
model’s 100-year history.

The selected motor cars are:

PHANTOM I BROUGHAM DE VILLE – ‘THE PHANTOM OF LOVE’

Dating from 1926 – the year after the original New
Phantom was launched – this celebrated motor car is one of the finest
examples of automotive art and craftsmanship ever created. It was
commissioned by Clarence Warren Gasque as a gift for his wife, Maude,
an heiress to the Woolworth family fortune, and was both a magnificent
monument to his devotion, and an immoderate homage to her passion for
18th Century French history and design. Interior details include
bespoke Aubusson tapestries, a hand-painted ceiling with gilded
cornices, and a drinks cabinet topped with a French Ormolu clock and a
pair of French porcelain vases filled with gilded metal and enamel flowers.

PHANTOM II CONTINENTAL TOURING PARK WARD

The now rare and highly prized Phantom II Continental
was the production version of an experimental compact, sporting
Phantom II variant produced for Henry Royce’s personal use. It was
designed for high-speed touring over long distances on the smooth,
straight roads of Europe and one of the few Phantoms of its era in
which weight, wind resistance and other performance-related factors
were as important as passenger comfort. This example, chassis 92PY,
was commissioned by Mr A Y Gowen, an American industrialist who owned
16 Rolls-Royce motor cars during his lifetime. Intended for his
travels around Europe, it’s fitted with a sunroof as well as the
unique yellow tinted sun visor.

PHANTOM III

This beautiful motor car was originally ordered and
delivered to Major Frederick Warren Pearl of Eaton Square, London SW1,
in 1937. It passed through a number of hands before being exported to
the United States. In 1989 it was repatriated to the UK and acquired
by its current owner in 1995, following a comprehensive restoration.

PHANTOM IV LANDAULETTE

Phantom IV is the most exclusive model to bear the
Phantom name: just 18 examples were produced between 1950 and 1956 and
were offered only to royal families and heads of state. The chassis
was 23.5 inches longer than that of the similar Silver Wraith; it was
also the only Rolls-Royce to be fitted with a straight 8-cylinder
engine. Phantom IV is still used by the British royal family for state occasions.

PHANTOM V

A magnificent and rare Rolls-Royce Phantom V with
coachwork by James Young, this elegant PV22 model is finished in its
original Midnight Blue. It was ordered by Marks & Spencer in
January 1963 for the use of its chairman, Lord Marks, and delivered to
him in March 1964. In perfect mechanical order, it has covered just
92,000 documented miles from new.

During the Revival, Phantom will also make regular appearances
on the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit. Four Phantom course cars will
run from the assembly area between each race, demonstrating the power,
precision and dynamic ability that continue to define Phantom as ‘the
best car in the world’ after 100 years.

Press Contact: Andrew Ball
Tel: +44-1243-384-064
E-mail: andrew.ball@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Heritage,United Kingdom,Press Release

“Our return to The Hurlingham Club marks not only the opening of

Claus Andersen, Brand Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London marks the opening of
the Summer Season with its return to the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic
at The Hurlingham Club in West London this week. It is the first in a
series of high society occasions in which Rolls-Royce will serve a
gentle presence across London and further afield in Britain during the
summer months.

First held in 1994, the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic is one of
the world’s most prestigious exhibition tournaments. Played on The
Hurlingham Club’s sublime grass courts, it has long been used by many
ATP players to polish their skills ahead of the start of the Wimbledon
Championships the following week.

For the duration of the tournament, Rolls-Royce clients will
delight in a carefully curated experience, set in the stunning 42-acre
location on the River Thames in Fulham.

Since its foundation in 1869, the Hurlingham Club has
represented the apex of sporting and social life, and is indelibly
linked with exclusive and glamorous summer pursuits. In 1873, it
published the official rules of polo, and was the venue for ‘the game
of kings’ at the 1908 Summer Olympics. While polo is no longer played
there, Hurlingham remains its spiritual home and gives its name to the
British sport’s governing body. The Club is still, however, the world
centre for another classic summer game, croquet, regularly hosting
top-ranking international tournaments on its immaculate lawns.

THE ROLLS-ROYCE CONNECTION

The Club offers precisely the kind of environment and
ambiance in which the marque’s co-founder, The Hon. Charles Stewart
Rolls, would have felt entirely at home. Aristocratic, well-connected
and wealthy, he was also daring and insatiably competitive. He raced
bicycles as a student at Cambridge, then motor cars; and by the time
he turned 30, he had enthusiastically embraced the latest craze
sweeping his social stratum, ballooning, for which Hurlingham had
quickly become the central hub in Britain.

The attractions for an audacious, pioneering spirit like Rolls,
who had successfully raced every available innovation since his youth,
were obvious. Ballooning was new, adventurous, ripe for record-setting
and, of course, potentially extremely dangerous. The most obvious
hazards were in flight, when a shift in the wind could set the balloon
on a collision course, with the hapless pilot essentially powerless to
take evasive action. Rolls himself had close calls with a factory
chimney near his family home in Monmouth, and a gasholder at
Battersea, in 1906; and when flying from Hurlingham, there was the
ever-present possibility of becoming entangled with a tree on take-off.

Other perils awaited the pilot on landing. One summer day, Rolls
disrupted a cricket match by coming to earth on the pitch, and even
though the outraged players were eventually pacified, the fragile
balloon suffered grave damage from their spiked cricket boots.

To add further spice to the proceedings, these early balloons
were filled not with inert hot air, but with coal gas – a roughly
equal mix of hydrogen and carbon monoxide that was both extremely
flammable and highly toxic. As the sport’s focal point, Hurlingham had
its own dedicated supply via a pipeline installed by the Gas Light
& Coke Company in 1908.

On 24 June 1908, the Aero Club of the United Kingdom organised a
pursuit race, known as a ‘hare and hounds’ and still popular with
balloonists today, from The Hurlingham Club grounds. As the ‘hare’,
Rolls set off first in his single-occupant balloon ‘The Imp’ and flew
to a predetermined spot where he landed and laid out a target on the
ground. The pack of 11 ‘hounds’ then followed, in balloons with
evocative names including ‘Pegasus’, ‘Valkyrie’ and ‘Enchantress’
(whoever named balloon number 10 ‘Icarus’ clearly had either a poor
grasp of mythology or a particularly mordant sense of humour). Their
task was to locate the target and attempt to drop a weighted bag onto
it from the air: whoever struck closest to the mark received a special
cup presented by Rolls himself. The pilots and their passengers –
almost all titled and/or military officers and professional people,
including a Doctor, a General and a Viscountess – perfectly
encapsulate Rolls’ elevated social milieu, and the personal
connections on which he built Rolls-Royce’s early success.

Balloon racing continued from the Club in 1909; but by 1910,
Rolls had moved on to aeroplanes, becoming only the second person in
Britain to obtain a pilot’s licence. On 2 June, his first-ever double
crossing of the English Channel, flying non-stop from Dover to Calais
and back again, made him a national hero. His Wright Flyer, designed
by the legendary Wilbur and Orville, was built under license in
Britain by Short Brothers, who also produced ‘The Imp’.

After the record-breaking 90-minute flight, the aircraft
required a major overhaul, so Rolls and his team took it to a hangar
at Hounslow Heath airfield, conveniently close to Hurlingham where it
was to be put on public display. Sensibly, the team made the trip from
Kent at night, having decided that towing an aeroplane behind a motor
car on the public highway was ‘probably illegal’. Flying an aeroplane
in metropolitan London, on the other hand, was definitely against the
law. Typically, this did not stop Rolls attempting a test-flight from
Hurlingham: after narrowly avoiding a tree, he was persuaded not to
try a second time.

The extraordinary pace of development would continue in
aviation. Just 61 years after The Hurlingham balloon races, Concorde
crossed the Atlantic at twice the speed of sound – powered by engines
bearing Rolls’ name.

FROM THE LAWNS OF HURLINGHAM TO THE STREETS OF MAYFAIR

As summer begins, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London reaffirms its
place at the heart of the Summer Season – both through its presence at
carefully chosen occasions such as The Hurlingham Club, and at its
showroom on Berkeley Street in Mayfair.

This part of London also holds particular significance for the
marque: just a few streets away, on Hill Street, Charles Stewart Rolls
was born in 1877. It was also in Mayfair that he established offices
for his fledgling motor car business, C. S. Rolls & Co. – an
enterprise that embodied the ideals and ambitions that would later
give rise to Rolls-Royce, now regarded as the most revered name in the
world of luxury.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

Spectre: WLTP: Power consumption: 2.6-2.8 mi/kWh / 23.6-22.2

“As the British Season begins, we’re delighted to join the
celebration of floral art in Chelsea this week, a popular event in
the social calendar for many of our clients. Dress codes are an
inherent part of the allure for such an occasion and, like our
clients, we like to hit the brief. We debuted a striking Rolls-Royce
The ongoing success of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is
based upon an intimate understanding of the unique world in which its
clients live, socialise and entertain. In this spirit, the marque
delights in maintaining a gentle presence in the world’s luxury hotspots.

This week, Rolls-Royce Spectre is joining clients in celebrating
the breathtaking floral art displayed in the streets and residence
entryways in the heart of Chelsea, South-West London. In keeping with
the flower-inspired theme and reflecting the brand’s enduring
connection with nature, the Spectre is finished in Velvet Orchid – one
of nature’s most captivating flowers, admired for its rich colour,
velvety texture and luxurious appearance – and complemented by a
delicate hand-painted Peony Pink Coachline.

Floral motifs have long inspired Rolls-Royce Bespoke
commissions. Nature – and flowers in particular – provide a rich
language of symbolism, sentiment and beauty. This Spectre follows some
recent exceptional commissions inspired by the natural world,
including the celebrated Phantom Cherry Blossom and Daisy Cullinan.
These creations are not simply motor cars, but deeply personal
artworks – each a reflection of the commissioning clients’ values,
identity and lifestyle.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

WLTP: Power consumption: 2.6-2.8 mi/kWh / 23.6-22.2 kWh/100km.

At the very heart of our brand lies a deep commitment to creativity and artisanal excellence. As a name synonymous with perfection, Rolls-Royce holds London Craft Week – a celebration of the finest craftsmanship – as a key moment in our annual calendar. For this year’s event, I am delighted to announce that our highly talented artisans and designers from the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood have created a stunning Bespoke artwork, inspired by the rich and fascinating variety of wildlife in the United Kingdom. This exquisite display of creativity and craftsmanship will be on display at our flagship showroom, in the heart of Mayfair, for the duration of the event in May.”
Boris Weletzky, Regional Director, United Kingdom, Europe, and Central Asia, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Artisans from the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood have created an exquisite artwork inspired by the rich and remarkable flora and fauna of the British Isles, to celebrate the eleventh year of London Craft Week.

The enchanting woodland scene – a collaboration between makers from the Interior Surface Centre, the Exterior Surface Centre and the Interior Trim Centre – captures the beauty of nature at three moments in time (day, evening and night) as part of a triptych. A Kingfisher has been cleverly depicted in each scene, using different craft techniques to capture the character of the bird during the transition from daytime to nighttime.

SWAN LAKE

Rolls-Royce artisans from the Exterior Surface Centre spent over 100 hours skilfully recreating a tranquil lakeside scene, featuring wildlife, plants and invertebrates that thrive in the aquatic ecosystem. Two elegant swans gliding across the surface of the water, and a Kingfisher hovering above, have been painted using freehand brush techniques.

To create the wild reeds that surround the lake, aluminium was cut and painted in Iced Orange Metallic and St Tropez using multiple techniques including airbrushing, wet basecoat manipulation and dappling – a highly realistic effect enhanced by a crystal clear coat giving the impression of morning dew.

ENCHANTED WOODLAND

Craftspeople from the Interior Trim Centre spent over 400 hours recreating the magic of the woodland in the evening. The fascinating variety of wildlife is showcased through the application of different techniques on leather. Delicate flowers resembling daisies were painted onto the Scivaro Grey leather, whilst tactile, hardier flora species were created using a pioneering three-dimensional embroidery technique, whereby thread is layered upon itself to form a self-supporting structure.

Rolls-Royce artisans took further inspiration for the artwork from the animals commonly found in the forest. Hand painted onto leather, the animals portrayed include a graceful hare, featuring long prominent ears and powerful hind legs, and a squirrel with a beautiful bushy tail. To replicate the texture and volume of the tail, a technique called tufting was used in which different materials form pile structures on a backing fabric.

STEALTH AFTER DARK

Rolls-Royce’s specialists from the Interior Surface Centre spent over 500 hours carefully cutting, pressing and assembling beautifully tessellated veneer shapes to capture the magic of the woodland after dark.

In this third portion of the artwork, a fox is depicted padding stealthily into the sylvan scene through the use of intricate marquetry – the art and craft of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to form decorative patterns. In a Rolls-Royce first, the marque’s artisans trialled painted veneers, exquisitely representing the reddish hue of the fox’s fur and its white-tipped tail. Colour has been painstakingly applied to ensure the wood grain can still be admired.

The unique triptych captures the essence of woodland life at three moments in time and is a testament to the marque’s fluency in Bespoke. This captivating artwork will be exhibited in the window of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, Berkeley Street, Mayfair, from 12 to 18 May 2025.

Press Contact: Isabel Matthews
Tel: +447815245127
E-mail: isabel.matthews@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Art,United Kingdom,Press Release,Craftsmanship,craft

“Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds has been an important part of our
trusted dealer network ever since JCT600 joined the Rolls-Royce
family in 2018. The opening of this new space is a momentous
occasion – it illustrates a bold and exciting step for the brand,
bringing the essence of Goodwood to Yorkshire. This new expansive
and contemporary space – with its wealth of digital technologies,
and sophisticated, elegant design – is the perfect embodiment of the
brand. It is the ideal space for the highly professional team to
offer patrons a hyper-personalised client experience characterised
by luxurious encounters. It really captures the spirit of the marque
and brings our visual identity to life, reaffirming our position as
a leading House of Luxury.”

Boris Weletzky, Regional Director, United Kingdom, Europe and
Central Asia

“After
adding Rolls-Royce to our stable of luxury car marques in 2018, we
were keen to create a new home for it which would do justice to this
world-leading brand. Bringing a touch of Goodwood to Yorkshire and
the North East, the Leeds showroom is simply stunning. From a
multi-media curtain of ‘dancing’ kinetic lighting to a unique
‘cabinet of curiosities’ showcasing our Yorkshire heritage, a visit
here is designed to be an engaging experience for customers where
they can see the very best of the Rolls-Royce brand.”

Kristian Keighley, Head of Business for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
Leeds, JCT600 Brooklands.

Rolls-Royce has a profound understanding of
its clients, their expectations, their needs and their wishes. This is
an essential element in the marque’s ongoing success as a renowned
House of Luxury. The new Rolls-Royce showroom in the heart of
Yorkshire is the perfect place for clients to learn more about the
marque and experience the elegance of the world of Rolls-Royce.

Located in a prominent location in Leeds, this space showcases
the marque’s exquisite products and provides clients with an
unparalleled experience, in line with Rolls-Royce’s position as a true
global luxury goods brand. The new showroom, with the front doors
modelled on Rolls-Royce’s famous Pantheon grille, offers clients a
fully immersive brand experience from the moment they enter the building.

Inside, the new showroom exudes cool modern luxury, yet still
recognises the importance of heritage for the marque, with citations
from the founding fathers of the brand throughout the showroom. The
Cabinet of Curiosities, an eclectic mix of intriguing,
timeless and legendary design objects, sparks the imagination and
client conversations as part of the commission process. It also
celebrates the local area with unique objects and books which reflect
the legends that hail from Yorkshire.

The pièce de résistance, the Atelier, is the
place where, with the help of the marque’s highly skilled and
professional team, clients can envisage their dream commission coming
to life. Housing some of the marque’s most exquisite examples of
craftsmanship, including wood veneers, leathers, embroidery threads
and lambswool samples, in a variety of vivacious hues, the Atelier is
a sensory-inspired room; it showcases the marque’s fluency in Bespoke
and luxury. The surface-finish samples are presented in the familiar
Rolls-Royce speedform shape, making it easy to imagine the almost
endless two-tone colour combinations; the leathers are rolled on wands
with handles from Rolls-Royce’s famous umbrellas, while the veneers
are shaped like the cross-section of an aerofoil, recalling the
aviation exploits of the marque’s founding father, The Hon. Charles
Stewart Rolls.

The remarkable space that is the Leeds showroom is a further
sign of the dealership’s commitment to excellence and extraordinary
journey since joining the marque in 2018. In 2020, Rolls-Royce Motor
Cars Leeds was honoured to receive the title of ‘Global Whispers
Dealer’. Whisper’s is the marque highly exclusive members only club.

A Rolls-Royce is unapologetically luxurious, it is unmistakable,
synonymous with beauty and elegance, a true design icon, and so, in
the new Leeds showroom, each model rightfully enjoys its own dedicated
space, framed, and is presented according to its distinctive
personality and characteristics.

Press Contact: Isabel Matthews
Tel: +447815245127
E-mail: isabel.matthews@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Corporate,United Kingdom,Press Release

“Goodwood Revival is a wonderfully eccentric, nostalgic and
glamorous celebration of the cars, fashions and culture of the
1940s, 50s and 60s. During this period, Rolls-Royce produced some of
the most memorable models in its long history, including the Silver
Cloud III we are displaying in the March Motor Works this year. It’s
a rare and beautiful example of the coachbuilder’s art from a time
when Rolls-Royce offered its clients a Coachbuild option alongside
its standard models – a service that’s enjoyed its own revival at
the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood in the modern era. We’re
delighted to be part of this remarkable event once again,
particularly in our 120th anniversary year.”

Andrew Ball, Head of Corporate Relations & Heritage,
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

A rare example of a coachbuilt Silver Cloud will form
the centrepiece of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ annual presence at the
world-famous Goodwood Revival, which takes place from 6-8 September.

For its 120th anniversary year, the marque has designed the
March Motor Works, located at the infield end of the main circuit
tunnel, as a faithful replica of Berkeley Square and the Rolls‑Royce
showroom on nearby Conduit Street in London’s Mayfair in 1964.

On display will be a magnificently maintained Rolls-Royce Silver
Cloud III; this sleek, elegant motor car is understood to be one of
only around 100 examples of a fixed-head coupé (FHC) design ever built
on the Silver Cloud III chassis by the legendary coachbuilder Mulliner
Park Ward. It is finished in a handsome Brewster Green, with a Claret
Red leather-trimmed interior. Under the bonnet is a hand-built,
6.2-litre, naturally aspirated V8 engine, delivering around 210bhp to
the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.

The Silver Cloud III is historically important as the last
predominantly owner-driven Rolls‑Royce to be offered as a rolling
chassis, upon which clients could commission fully bespoke bodywork
from Mulliner Park Ward or other specialist coachbuilders, as well as
a complete motor car. (To be strictly accurate, Phantom VI remained
in production as a separate chassis, albeit in small numbers, until
1993, with coachwork predominantly supplied by Mulliner Park Ward,
which was by then a Rolls-Royce subsidiary. However, these were all
limousines designed to be driven by a chauffeur.)

Berkeley Square and its environs were home to several luxury car
showrooms at that time, including Jack Barclay. Charles Rolls was born
a stone’s throw away in Hill Street, Mayfair, and would go on to
establish his showroom in nearby Conduit Street, shortly after forming
the partnership with Henry Royce in 1904: the March Motor Works
showcases the premises as they would have appeared 60 years later.

Press Contact: Andrew Ball
Tel: +44-1243-384-064
E-mail: andrew.ball@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Heritage,United Kingdom,Press Release

“The Festival of Speed, set in the remarkable grounds of the

Boris Weletzky, Regional Director, United Kingdom, Europe and
Central Asia

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars celebrates a highly Bespoke
presence at this year’s Festival of Speed. Displayed on the Festival’s
Laundry Green, adjacent to Goodwood House, a beautifully commissioned
Phantom Extended, Ghost, Spectre, as well as the latest expression of
Cullinan, will each provide a unique expression of the marque’s
peerless craftsmanship.

ROLLS-ROYCE CULLINAN
When Cullinan first launched in 2018,
it built a new legacy for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, with a bold and
uncompromising generation of super-luxury consumers. It reframed
super-luxury motoring, enabling Rolls-Royce clients to experience the
marque’s hallmark ‘magic carpet ride’ on any terrain and in every
corner of the world.

Earlier this year, the marque unveiled Cullinan Series II, an
evolution of the world’s pre-eminent super-luxury SUV. This motor car
makes its UK public debut at the Festival of Speed 2024.

One of the key themes in Cullinan’s evolution is verticality,
which echoes the illuminated skyscrapers in the megacities where
Cullinan is increasingly at home. This is perhaps most apparent in the
new lamp treatment, where tall daytime running light graphics ensure
Cullinan Series II is easily identified, day and night.

The marque’s signature figurine, the Spirit of Ecstasy, features
inside the motor car for the very first time and is displayed in
miniature inside the new Clock Cabinet in the fascia. This unique
inset vitrine displays both an analogue timepiece and the up-lit
Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. Constructed from solid stainless steel,
the Spirit of Ecstasy is placed on her own stage with a matte black
back panel and high gloss side panels to create a reflection effect.

Cullinan Series II illustrates the extensive scope of the
marque’s Bespoke capabilities and talented craftsmanship. For the
first time ever on a series car, Placed Perforation, the practice of
creating artworks through tiny perforations in the leather, is
available. Designers at the marque’s headquarters created a pattern
inspired by the constantly changing shapes and shadows of the clouds
over the Home of Rolls-Royce.Cullinan Series II also continues
Rolls-Royce’s exploration of textiles with a new rayon fabric made
from bamboo, named Duality Twill.

A contemporary expression of Cullinan, finished in a minimalist
yet sophisticated hue, Emperador Truffle, will be on show at the
event. Inspired by richly-veined brown marble, Rolls-Royce colour
specialists developed this unique paint finish especially for Cullinan
Series II. An Arctic White Coachline provides a clean contrast to the
exterior hue. Inside, the elegant yet minimalist style continues, with
a Cashmere Grey and Chartreuse leather colourway, the latter with the
intricate Placed Perforation pattern.

ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE
2023 was a momentous year for
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars; it marked 20 years since production began at
the marque’s Goodwood manufacturing facility and, in Q4 of 2023,
client deliveries for Spectre, the marque’s first fully electric motor
car, began. Since then, Spectre has been on a remarkable Bespoke journey.

For this year’s Festival of Speed, a striking expression of the
marque’s electric super coupé has been created. Presented in two-tone
Peony Pearl and Black Diamond, this vibrant expression of the marque’s
genre-defining motor car exudes modern luxury and symbolises the dawn
of a bold new era for Rolls-Royce. To embolden the exterior and
highlight Spectre’s dynamic presence and prowess, 23-inch wheels are
fitted to the motor car. The exterior is completed with a trim, Black
Coachline. Peony Pink and Arctic White are the primary and secondary
interior colours chosen to complement the exterior.

The interior cabin is a celestial cosseting haven, with a
spellbinding Starlight Headliner, Starlight Doors, which incorporate
4,796 softly illuminated ‘stars’, and a tone-on-tone starlight pattern
on the rear waterfall seat. An extra special clock vitrine, delicately
embellished with shooting ‘stars’, creates a serene yet magical essence.

This year marks the 120th anniversary of the meeting
of The Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls and Henry Royce and, in a gentle nod
to commemorate this significant year, each of the one-of-one Phantom,
Ghost and Spectre motor cars created for the event, features a painted
‘sound wave’ design on the lid of the centre console. Each ‘sound
wave’ conveys a different inspirational quote from the marque’s
founding fathers, whose vision underpins everything that the company
is today and strives to achieve.

Bespoke is Rolls-Royce; an ethos which permeates every
commissioned creation, from exquisite motor cars to luxurious
accessories. This extends from glamorous cellarettes and champagne
chests, to personalised umbrellas and picnic hampers. To complement
the Peony Pearl Spectre, an elegant Escapism Luggage Collection has
been designed and created. Beautiful in form, yet relaxed and
contemporary, this luggage collection is crafted from the highest
quality leather and durable canvas, ideal for those who travel for
enriching experiences and spontaneous moments of discovery.

In addition to Spectre’s presence on the stand, this motor car
will ascend the famous Hillclimb course at Goodwood during the
Festival’s Supercar Run.

ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM
Phantom is an icon of legendary
standing, which defines the barometers of luxury. A masterpiece of
transcendent perfection, Phantom Extended offers tastemakers a serene
and spacious realm to recharge before taking on the world. Its
exquisite features and elevated nuances epitomise Rolls-Royce’s
artisanship, solidifying it as an icon in the marque’s history.

For this year’s Festival of Speed, a modern interpretation of
Rolls-Royce’s pinnacle motor car has been designed and created by the
marque’s highly skilled designers, engineers and artisans. This
magnificent expression is finished in a striking two-tone of Diba Teal
and Black Diamond, with a Black Coachline. Inspiration for this motor
car comes from the French Riviera, a location internationally renowned
for its glamourous lifestyle, unrivalled views and stunning scenery.
There is also a strong connection between the marque and the area; in
1912, Sir Henry Royce built Villa Mimosa in the village of Le Canadel,
where he subsequently spent every winter until his death in 1933.

Phantom offers clients an unprecedented opportunity: a chance to
showcase eclectic works of art, sculpture, or objects of
self-expression in the Gallery. This unique single piece of
uninterrupted glass, spans the entire fascia and means patrons can
enjoy, admire and appreciate their favourite artwork from the
sanctuary of Phantom’s sumptuous cabin. For this year’s commission,
Rolls-Royce’s artisans spent over 35 hours creating a beautiful
monochrome leather Gallery, with an embroidered wave pattern, which
features 47,319 stitches. This pattern is once again a gentle nod to
the French Riviera and is replicated throughout the motor car on the
door card and picnic tables.

Innovation meets exquisite craftsmanship with the Kinetic
Luggage Collection which complements the luxurious motor car.
Presented in Black leather, with Arctic White panelling and Diba Teal
stitching, the collection has been meticulously designed and crafted
by Rolls-Royce’s talented artisans.

ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST
Ghost is a study in reduction, minimalism
and simplicity. Its purity provides the ideal blank canvas for Bespoke
commissions, with clients able to exercise their ambitious creativity
and express their personal tastes almost entirely free of technical
and aesthetic constraints.

That purity presents possibility. It creates potential as
boundless as the owner’s imagination, emboldening them to bring
colour, energy and vibrancy to their commission and to allow beautiful
materials, expert craftsmanship and exquisite details speak for
themselves, subtle and unadorned.

Presented in Blue Crystal over Black, the expression of Ghost
created in honour of the occasion, oozes timeless elegance and
sophistication. A Charles Blue Coachline elegantly resolves the
exterior and illustrates the extensive scope of the marque’s Exterior
Surface Centre.

Beautifully crafted leather Key Wraps have been designed and
created for the Ghost, Phantom and Spectre.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

During the last 18 months the highly dedicated, professional, and

“The reopening of the Sunningdale dealership, the showroom nearest

Boris Weletzky, Regional Director, United Kingdom, Europe, and
Central Asia

Rolls-Royce has a profound understanding of its
clients; their needs, expectations and their wishes and strives to
exceed these. Offering its patrons unique experiences is an integral
part of the ongoing success of the world’s leading luxury marque, and
so Rolls-Royce is delighted to announce its newly redesigned showroom
in Sunningdale is ready to welcome clients past, present and future to
its new luxurious space.

Located in a prominent location in the heart of Sunningdale, the
space has been completely transformed both architecturally and
aesthetically, making it almost unrecognisable. The original showroom
has been significantly extended, offering more space to showcase the
marque’s exquisite products and providing clients an unparalleled
experience, in line with Rolls-Royce’s continuing evolution as a true
global luxury goods brand. A terrace, with views over the Berkshire
countryside, is an entirely new addition to the showroom; a relaxing
and inviting space for clients to draw closer to the brand.

The redesigned location, spanning two levels, now showcases the
marque’s contemporary visual identity, designed by award-winning
agency, Pentagram. The space offers clients an immersive experience
from the moment they step foot into the building: the front door is
modelled on Rolls-Royce’s famous Pantheon grille and provides a
discreet, tantalising glimpse of what lies within. The doorway is
topped by the marque’s iconic figurine, the Spirit of Ecstasy.

Inside, the new showroom continues to exude sophistication,
contemporary luxury, and creativity, yet still recognises the
importance of heritage for the marque, with citations from the
founding fathers of the brand throughout the showroom. The Cabinet
of Curiosities, an eclectic mix of intriguing, timeless and
legendary design objects, is designed to spark the imagination and
conversations as part of the commission process. The pièce de
résistance, the Atelier, houses some of marque’s most
exquisite examples of craftsmanship, including wood veneers, leathers,
embroidery threads in a variety of vivacious hues, as well as
lambswool samples. The surface-finish samples are presented in the
familiar Rolls-Royce speedform shape, making it easy to imagine the
almost endless two-tone colour combinations; the leathers are rolled
on wands with handles from Rolls-Royce’s famous umbrellas, while the
veneers are shaped like the cross-section of an aerofoil, recalling
The Hon Charles Rolls’ aviation exploits. This sensory-inspired room
helps clients to envisage their dream commission coming to life.

The remarkable transformation of the Sunningdale showroom is a
further sign of the dealership’s commitment to excellence which was
recognised in two recent prestigious awards. In 2020, Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars Sunningdale was honoured to receive the title of ‘Global
Bespoke Dealer of the Year’ and, in 2022, ‘Regional Provenance
Dealership of the Year’, both recognising its unwavering commitment to
the Rolls-Royce brand and delivering personalised experiences to its
cherished clients.

A Rolls-Royce is unapologetically luxurious, it is unmistakable,
synonymous with beauty and elegance, a true design icon, and so each
model rightfully enjoys its own dedicated space, framed, and is
presented according to its distinctive personality and characteristics.

Press Contact: Isabel Matthews
Tel: +447815245127
E-mail: isabel.matthews@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,United Kingdom,Press Release

This event is an important occasion in our annual calendar – it is a

Boris Weletzky,
Regional Director – United Kingdom, Europe, and Central Asia,
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

From 30th August 2023, patrons of luxury
will convene at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire for one of the final
summer highlights in the luxury calendar: Salon Privé. In recognition
of this highly exclusive gathering, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will
showcase Spectre, the world’s first ultra-luxury all-electric super
coupé, and Ghost, the most successful product in the marque’s storied
119-year history. Each of these beautiful commissions is indicative of
the extensive scope of the marque’s craft, design, and engineering competencies.

ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE

Spectre represents an exciting new era for the
world’s leading luxury marque – the beginning of a bold all-electric
age. Almost two years ago, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made an historic
announcement, declaring its commitment to electric technology: in
2023, the brand would launch its first-fully electric car, and by the
end of 2030 the marque’s entire portfolio of cars will be
all-electric. Since this momentous announcement, Spectre has been on a
remarkable journey, undergoing a rigorous testing programme, in
extreme conditions and temperatures, spanning 2.5million kilometres,
simulating more than 400 years of use. Spectre has also received
overwhelmingly positive feedback from the world’s media, following its
global launch in California earlier this summer.

At this year’s Salon Privé, Spectre will be presented in a
bright expression of Wittering Blue with a vibrant Mandarin Coachline,
illustrating the contemporary yet luxurious essence that exists at the
very heart of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Upon opening the doors, one
encounters an interior suite of Charles Blue, offset with Mandarin
applied to the seat piping and monogrammed headrests.

In addition to the Wittering Blue Spectre that will take pride
of place front and centre of the stand, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is
delighted to confirm that a second Spectre will be on display at the
event. A truly sleek and bold commission presented in Chartreuse and
Black Diamond, with a cosseting and calming cabin finished in
Chartreuse, Grace White and Peony Pink, will join the daily parade
throughout the grounds of Blenheim Palace.

ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST

Ghost represents a world of boundless potential, an
authentic automotive wonder, built on the marque’s proprietary
all-aluminium spaceframe Architecture of Luxury. For Salon Privé,
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presents a truly vibrant and playful expression
of Ghost, finished in Tucana Purple, a colour reminiscent of the
Southern night sky that surrounds the Tucana constellation. A striking
and contrasting Lime Green Coachline, combined with Lime Green
Pinstripe Tyres, confidently resolve the exterior. Inside, the Lime
Green interior appointments on the seat piping, steering wheel,
monogrammed headrests, and arm rests, echo the exterior hue.

In addition to the Tucana Purple Ghost on the stand, Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars is delighted to confirm that a second Ghost will elegantly
lead the Tour Privé, a rolling 120-mile concours through the Cotswolds
– an honour reflective of this motor car’s significant stature.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

“As our home market, the United Kingdom has always been, and will
continue to be, a very important market for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
I am delighted to announce that from today, the most anticipated
Rolls-Royce in the marque’s 119-year storied history will go on tour
throughout the UK, starting in London. Clients, media, and friends
of the brand first had the opportunity to see this transformative
motor car in the marque’s flagship showroom in Mayfair, before
Spectre undertakes a tour around the UK. The response from the
world’s opinion leaders to our genre-defining all-electric
super-coupé, has been unequivocally positive, and I am delighted now
to have the opportunity to showcase this remarkable motor car in the
country where it was built.”

Boris Weletzky, Regional Director United Kingdom, Europe, and
Central Asia, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

In 2021, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made a historic
announcement that would shape the marque’s history forever.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars declared its commitment to electric technology
by both announcing Spectre, an all-electric car with first customer
deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2023, and that by the end of 2030,
the marque’s entire portfolio would be fully electric. Since this
significant moment in the storied history of Rolls-Royce, Spectre has
been on a remarkable journey, including completing a highly demanding
testing programme, spanning 2.5 million kilometres. Last October,
Spectre was unveiled to the world at the Home of Rolls-Royce in West
Sussex, and response from media across the globe has been
overwhelmingly positive.

Now, ahead of first client deliveries later this year, Spectre
made its UK dealer debut on 1st June at the marque’s
flagship residence in Berkeley Street, Mayfair, London. The world’s
first ultra-luxury electric super coupé will now embark on its UK
tour, offering clients an opportunity to draw closer to the brand,
viewing this remarkable motor car and thereby participating in
Rolls-Royce’s electric future.

Spectre heralds the beginning of an exciting new chapter for
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the start of the marque’s all-electric era.
Spectre represents a promise made, a prophecy kept and a remarkable
undertaking. The marque has a long-standing connection with electric
technologies; in 1900, Rolls-Royce co-founder Charles Rolls
prophesised an electric future for the motor car. Having experienced
an electric vehicle named The Columbia Electric Carriage, he foresaw
the technology’s suitability as a clean, noiseless alternative to the
internal combustion engine – providing there was sufficient
infrastructure to support it. In 2011, Rolls-Royce showcased a fully
electric Experimental Phantom concept named 102EX. This was followed
by 103EX, a dramatic design study that anticipated a bold electric
future for the marque.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

SPECTRE CO2 EMISSIONS AND CONSUMPTION

“As a brand that has always been synonymous with luxury, refined
elegance, and exacting levels of craftsmanship, London Craft Week is
an important event in our annual calendar. I am delighted to unveil
our portfolio of stunning Bespoke craftsmanship, which will be on
display at our flagship residence in Mayfair for the duration of the
event. These beautiful examples of craftsmanship are indicative of
the marque’s Bespoke capabilities. The inspiration behind these
magnificent works of craftsmanship, created in honour of the event,
comes from the French Riviera, a destination many miles away from
the Home of Rolls-Royce but a location synonymous with luxury,
beauty, and elegance, just like a Rolls-Royce.”
Boris Weletzky, Regional
Director – UK, Europe, and Central Asia

To celebrate the ninth year of London Craft Week,
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will debut a remarkable exhibition of
craftsmanship at the marque’s flagship residence in Mayfair. For this
year’s event, the marque has selected the theme of Location, with a
spotlight on the iconic, breathtaking, and lavish strip of coastline
that is the French Riviera.

Having previously sought inspiration for London Craft Week
directly from the Home of Rolls-Royce, on the Goodwood Estate, in West
Sussex, this year, Rolls-Royce designers have sought inspiration from
a place further afield, but still highly relevant and synonymous with
Rolls-Royce: The French Riviera.

Part of the marque’s ongoing success rests on a deep
understanding of the unique world in which the illustrious community
of Rolls-Royce clientele live. Internationally renowned for its
glamourous events, super luxurious lifestyle, stunning scenery,
unrivalled views and sparkling hues of the Mediterranean, the French
Riviera has long been a popular destination for Rolls-Royce clients,
making it a befitting choice as the theme of this year’s event.

The French Riviera has also been associated with Rolls-Royce
since the early part of 20th Century, when the Côte d’Azur
established itself as the favoured haunt of actors, artists,
musicians, and other wealthy leading lights of the Belle Epoque. There
is also a highly potent connection between the marque and the area: in
1912, Sir Henry Royce built his villa, La Mimosa, in the
village of Le Canadel, where he subsequently spent every winter until
his death in 1933.

SHORELINE INSPIRED FASCIA

For this year’s event, artisans from the marque’s
Interior Surface Centre have drawn inspiration from the beautiful
beaches of The Riviera, to meticulously craft a special shoreline
inspired Fascia. To replicate the idyllic golden sands, the lightest
in the marque’s portfolio of veneers, Ash Burr, was selected. A
special ‘candy’ paint – a light translucent paint that gradually
builds up to appear darker in colour – was created specifically for
the exhibition by the marque’s in-house colour experts and was chosen
to mimic the deep hues of the Mediterranean waters. To showcase the
movement, myriad of colours, and depths of the sea, one talented
individual sketched the outline of the waves, and then carefully
spray-painted layers upon layers of paint at different angles and
lengths. A delicate brush was then used to gently draw on the finer
details of the waves. Once the hand painting was finished, this
magnificent piece of artwork was lacquered multiple times before being
meticulously hand polished to achieve a perfectly smooth finish.

RIVIERA INSPIRED HEADLINER

Drawing inspiration from the local Riviera architecture, the
talented Collective of artisans at the Home of Rolls-Royce have
created a true work of art as the headliner. One highly creative
artisan hand painted a beautiful image of a coastal town in the French
Riviera onto Turchese leather, before this one-of-a-kind headliner was
embroidered with stitching in four different colours – Lemon, Iceland
Moss, Sheida Pink and Fame Green – to replicate the vivacious hues
typical for the region. To finish this masterpiece, 3D flowers, made
entirely from thread, were hand sculpted and individually embroidered
onto the main canvas piece. Delicate beads were then added to the
centre of the flower before being sewn onto the headliner. This
magnificent headliner, with all its delicate and intricate details,
took the marque’s team of talented artisans over 100 hours to create.

COACHLINE MOTIF

Continuing the Riviera theme, Rolls-Royce’s highly skilled
artisans working in the Exterior Surface Centre have created four
Coachline motifs: a sailing boat, gently bobbing up and down on the
water; waves; a parasol; and a Riviera-style town. These beautiful
Coachline motifs are presented on an Arctic White panel, with an
additional clearcoat, infused with a combination of shimmering
champagne and blue glass crystals.

BESPOKE UMBRELLA

To complete the exhibition, the world’s leading luxury marque
has created a one-off Bespoke umbrella for the occasion. Presented in
two-tone Turchese and Arctic White, this Bespoke umbrella is a truly
befitting addition to this year’s exhibition.

These unique pieces are indicative of the marque’s fluency in
Bespoke and will be displayed in the window of Rolls-Royce’s flagship
showroom, Berkeley Street, Mayfair, from 8 to 14 May 2023.

Press Contact: Isabel Matthews
Tel: +447815245127
E-mail: isabel.matthews@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,United Kingdom,Press Release

The first Rolls-Royce to be inspired by the city of Manchester

“I am proud to unveil the Manchester Ghost, a truly special
one-of-one embodiment of artistry and skill, curated in
collaboration with our Dealer Partners from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
Manchester. As Charles Rolls and Henry Royce first met in
Manchester, the city has, and always will have, a potent historical
resonance for the marque. Our accomplished artisans, designers and
engineers at the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, West Sussex have
created a truly remarkable motor car, capturing the city’s history,
and the city today, as well as celebrating some of its most
remarkable accomplishments. The Manchester Ghost brings together the
Home of Rolls-Royce where each motor car is hand built and the city
where the original idea for Rolls-Royce was born.”
Boris Weletzky, Regional Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars,
United Kingdom, Europe, CIS

A unique and extensively Bespoke one-of-one Ghost has been
designed for Manchester, to celebrate the city’s historical link with
the marque. The northern metropolis has long been an important place
for Rolls-Royce: on 4th May 1904, Charles Rolls and Henry
Royce first met in the Midland Hotel, in central Manchester, and it
was from this meeting that the marque’s two founding fathers agreed
together to create ‘the best motor car in the world’. This is the
first time, however, that the city of Manchester has been chosen as
the inspiration for a Rolls-Royce commission.

The combined talent of the Bespoke Collective at the Home of
Rolls-Royce saw designers, craftspeople and artisans collaborate over
a period of two years to create this motor car. Designer Ieuan
Hatherall explains:

“Manchester has always been a part of Rolls-Royce’s history. I
wanted to create a highly contemporary yet elegant iteration of
Ghost, honouring the significance of the city for the marque and
celebrating the accomplishments of the people of Manchester whilst
also incorporating the melange of Manchester’s modern and
traditional architecture.”

MANCHESTER BEE

The Manchester Bee, one of the best-known symbols of
the city and emblem for the city for more than 150 years, has been a
source of great inspiration for this motor car. The Manchester Bee
symbolises Mancunians’ strong work ethic and the city being a hive of
activity. On the exterior of this unique motor car, a Bespoke motif,
inspired by the Manchester Bee and presented in Turchese, is displayed
on the C pillar. Inside, the Manchester Bee theme continues, with this
iconic symbol embroidered on the front and rear seat inserts.

The traditional Silver exterior of the Manchester Ghost is
punctuated with a coachline in Turchese, creating a contemporary
accent to the car. The pinstripe wheel centre caps, also presented in
Turchese, echo the design, while the brake callipers in the same hue
elegantly complete the exterior.

ILLUMINATED FASCIA

For the Manchester Ghost, a truly special Illuminated
Fascia, with 10,000 laser etched dots, depicts an ethereal view of
Manchester from above. The largest etched dot on the Illuminated
Fascia represents the location of the Midland Hotel, the very place
where the marque’s two founding fathers first met at the start of the
twentieth century. The Illuminated Fascia references the title of the
poem ‘This is the Place’ by Tony Walsh, a sentimental tribute to the
city of Manchester.

REAR SEAT EMBROIDERY

Landmark locations in Manchester are embroidered in
tone-on-tone thread to the rear seat centre and demonstrate the
unrivalled capabilities of the Bespoke department.

GRAPHENE HEADLINER

In 2004, two professors at the University of
Manchester first isolated Graphene, an incredibly lightweight, strong
and flexible material. The discovery of this material, with its unique
properties, helped to reaffirm Manchester as a city renowned for
revolutionary inventions, academic expertise, and research. This
Bespoke commission celebrates this pioneering spirit, with the fabled
Rolls-Royce headliner depicting a Graphene lattice inspired pattern.

ILLUMINATED TREADPLATES

The illuminated treadplates also celebrate
Manchester’s reputation as a pioneer in the field of technology.
Inside the cabin doors, the abbreviated name for the city, ‘MCR’ is
inscribed in Binary. This is a tribute to ‘The Manchester Baby’, the
world’s first stored programmed electronic digital computer which was
successfully run at the University of Manchester on 21st
June 1948 – a landmark moment in the history of computing.

“As a born and bred Mancunian, this commission is truly special
and will always be highly memorable for me. From the moment we set
out to design a motor car to celebrate the city of Manchester, we
wanted to create something that would celebrate the city’s history
and the place today. It has been great to work with the team at Home
of Rolls-Royce to turn our vision into a reality.”
UK media will be invited to experience Phantom Series
Invited guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Phantom’s
commanding stature on the road by taking the wheel themselves, before
London, and Mayfair in particular, has long been associated with
Rolls-Royce – the highly exclusive postcode of W1 is a favoured
location amongst the illustrious community of Rolls-Royce clientele.
There is also a potent historical resonance for the company: Charles
Rolls was born in Hill Street, only a stone’s throw away from the
marque’s flagship residence, and he worked at 14/15 Conduit Street
from 1905-1910. A plaque was unveiled there in 2010 to commemorate
Rolls’ remarkable life.

From London, media will travel to The Newt, a country estate in
the heart of Somerset, with splendid gardens, majestic woodlands and
traditional cyder orchards, before being chauffeur-driven home – an
opportunity to experience Phantom’s beautifully curated interior suite.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

“Today marks the successful conclusion of a project very dear
to the hearts of everyone at the Home of Rolls-Royce. The Wildlife
Garden, created when the site was first developed almost 20 years
ago, has always been one of our most popular initiatives, used
extensively by local schoolchildren, as well as our own employees.
Now enhanced with a range of new features, it offers even more
opportunities to spend time outdoors in nature, with all the
physical and mental health benefits that brings."

Andrew Ball, Head of Corporate Relations, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has celebrated the completion of its
project to update the Wildlife Garden at the Home of Rolls-Royce at
Goodwood in a grand reopening ceremony.

Occupying a small, secluded area just inside the main gates, the
Wildlife Garden supports a wide variety of plants, insects, birds and
animals native to the South of England.

The rejuvenation, carried out in partnership with Chichester
District Council and the South Downs National Park Trust, reflects
changes in conservation thinking and practice since the Wildlife
Garden was established almost 20 years ago, as part of the original
landscaping of the 42-acre Goodwood site.

One of the project's central themes is 'rewilding', recognised
by conservationists and bodies including the United Nations, as a
crucial tool in preserving functional ecosystems and reducing
biodiversity loss. Rewilding involves returning land to its former
uncultivated state, connecting habitats by creating 'wildlife
corridors' and moving towards a more natural ecosystem with reduced
human intervention and management.

The Wildlife Garden is now one of 60 sites in seven corridors
that together form the Strategic Wildlife Corridor. This pioneering
rewilding initiative connects the South Downs National Park to
Chichester and Pagham Harbours, both of which have numerous
conservation designations including Local Nature Reserve (LNR),
Special Protection Area (SPA) and Site of Special Scientific Interest
(SSSI). Formally approved by Chichester District Council in 2021, this
is the first time that wildlife corridors have been strategically
included in planning policies anywhere in the UK.

As part of the Strategic Wildlife Corridor, the Wildlife Garden
will play an important role in protecting biodiversity, particularly
honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies and other pollinators, by
reconnecting habitat areas previously fragmented by human activity.

The updated Garden also incorporates elements of the winning
design from the Wildlife Garden Competition held in 2021, in which
children aged 5-11 were invited to submit ideas for new features that
would benefit both wildlife and people.

Iris, then aged eight, created Tiggy Town, to help
support the UK’s wild hedgehog population, which is in critical
decline. Her individual hedgehog houses, each with its own address,
have been lovingly made to her design by Apprentices in the Interior
Surface Centre. The department has also produced beautiful Bespoke
nest-boxes for birds, bats, dormice and solitary bees and a new sign
at the entrance.

Another of Iris's key design features, 'hedgehog highways' in
the fences, are formed from recycled terracotta pipes which have been
cut in half to form an archway for the hedgehogs to pass under. The
Garden's centrepiece is a new pond, shallow enough for hedgehogs to
drink from and bathe in safely, with a boardwalk enabling them to
climb out should they become tired.

Some welcome additions to the project also included a new
seating area created using recycled wooden pallets, a newly rebuilt
entrance gate and the creation of a safe bark pathway through the Garden.

Andrew Ball said, "This project is so full of positives,
involving children's imagination and creativity, collaboration between
Rolls-Royce and our local community, real generosity of spirit and a
great sense of shared enterprise and teamwork - all in the name of
supporting our fantastic local wildlife. We're particularly excited to
be part of wider rewilding and wildlife corridor creation projects
that support biodiversity far beyond our own boundaries. This update
will ensure the Wildlife Garden remains a truly valuable resource for
people and nature alike for many years to come."

Press Contact: Andrew Ball
Tel: +44-1243-384-064
E-mail: andrew.ball@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Corporate,United Kingdom,Press Release

“Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is delighted to return once again to
Blenheim Palace for Salon Privé. Salon Privé is an important event
in the luxury calendar, making it the perfect place for the Phantom
Series II, the marque’s magnum opus, to make its UK public debut. We
will also showcase a highly Bespoke Black Badge Ghost at the event.
I look forward to meeting our esteemed clients, friends of the
marque and media at this year’s gathering.”

Boris Weletzky, Regional Director UK, Europe, Russia and
Central Asia, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

From 31st August 2022, luxury car
aficionados will convene at Salon Privé, a highly exclusive Concours
d’Élégance, in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire. In
recognition of this gathering, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will showcase
two highly Bespoke commissions at the event – Phantom Series II and
Black Badge Ghost. Each of these commissions is testament to
Rolls-Royce’s peerless fluency in Bespoke and indicative of the
extensive scope of the marque’s craft, design and engineering competencies.

ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM SERIES II

Phantom occupies a unique position, at the apex of the luxury
world. It represents the pinnacle of Rolls-Royce design, engineering,
and craftsmanship.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars recently announced a new expression for
Phantom Series II. The eighth generation of Phantom was presented in
2017. In creating this new expression, Rolls-Royce designers and
engineers have been guided by the requests of clients, who have
implored Rolls-Royce not to make any major changes to an already
iconic motor car. In answer to these client demands, only the lightest
of design touches, embellishments, and adaptations have been
incorporated. Indeed, it is not about what should be changed, but
rather what should be preserved and protected.

The most obvious and important feature to be retained is
Phantom’s commanding presence. This has been further enhanced by a new
polished horizontal line between the daytime running lights above the
Pantheon Grille.

A subtle geometric change to the Pantheon Grille makes the ‘RR’
Badge of Honour and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot more prominent when
viewed from the front. The grille itself is now illuminated, a feature
debuted and popularised in Ghost. The headlights are graced with
intricate laser-cut bezel starlights, creating a visual connection
with the Starlight Headliner inside, and adding further surprise and
delight to Phantom's night-time presence.

Phantom’s side profile retains Rolls-Royce’s signature short
front and long rear overhang, long wheelbase and broad c-pillar, the
latter giving greater privacy for occupants. The silhouette preserves
the elegant key lines running from the Spirit of Ecstasy to the
tapering rear tail. The ‘split-belt’ line begins at the front fender
and curves gently towards the rear door, emphasising the car's long
dash-to-axle proportions, before falling gently towards the
lantern-like rear lamps. The heavily undercut 'waft line' creates a
strong shadow, visually signalling the marque's unequalled ‘Magic
Carpet Ride’.

The side profile is further enhanced with a suite of new wheels.
A 3D, milled, stainless steel wheel with triangular facets is
available to commission in a fully or part-polished finish.
Alternatively, Phantom may be graced with a truly elegant disc wheel,
recalling the romance of 1920’s Rolls-Royce motor cars. This disc
wheel is produced in both polished stainless steel and black lacquer,
perfectly encapsulating the sense of flight on land.

Responding to Phantom clients who have previously requested a
darkened chrome grille surround, black bonnet reins, windscreen
surround and side frame finishers, these may now be commissioned. This
aesthetic now enables Rolls-Royce to transform Phantom into the
lightest of light or the darkest of dark appearances.

For this year’s Salon Privé, a highly Bespoke Phantom has been
commissioned, presented in a classic Rolls-Royce two-tone colorway
with Black over Monteverde green, with a Peony Pink coachline. Inside,
a Scivaro Grey interior is offset by Peony Pink. The Obsydian Ayous
open pore wood and canadel paneling present a contemporary yet warm
look and feel.

ROLLS-ROYCE BLACK BADGE

Launched in 2016, Black Badge represents a subversive alter ego
of the Rolls-Royce brand. Designed with more torque, control and
power, Rolls-Royce Black Badge is for those who reject conformity and
live on their own terms. It is for the innovators, trailblazers,
rule-breakers — and above all — those who dare to be different. This
permanent Bespoke series, which is available for Wraith, Dawn,
Cullinan and Ghost, marries a noir aesthetic and highly contemporary
interior materials to a more urgent, dynamic personality. For Salon
Privé 2022, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presents the most potent expression
of a Rolls-Royce to date, Black Badge Ghost.

A vibrant St Tropez exterior finish was selected to signify the
dramatic intent of this Black Badge Ghost commission. A striking
combination of Scivaro Grey, Charles Blue and Mandarin confidently
resolve the aesthetic interior.

As in previous years, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will lead the Tour
Privé. For 2022, this rolling concourse will incorporate a 120-mile
tour of the Cotswolds, led by Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost.
Presented in a vivacious Twilight Purple, the signature Black Badge
design flourishes, including a carbon fibre Spirit of Ecstasy, and
21-inch Black Badge wheels embolden the exterior aesthetic. Inside,
Black leather creates a dramatic and bold impression, while Tailored
Purple on the secondary panels and inner door panels, echo the
exterior hue.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

only at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, these remarkable items
are testament to Rolls-Royce’s peerless craftsmanship.”
Claus Andersen, Brand Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London

Bespoke craftsmanship lies at the very heart of
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, with creativity nurtured and expressed at
every turn.

During this year’s London Craft Week, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
London, will debut a remarkable collection of Bespoke items which
illustrate the marque’s dedication to craftsmanship. Showcased at
Rolls-Royce’s global flagship premises in Berkeley Street, Mayfair,
these highly Bespoke items will be on display for the duration of this
year’s London Craft Week.

To celebrate the eighth year of London Craft Week, Rolls-Royce’s
master craftspeople have taken inspiration from a unique flower, the
Phantom Rose. Rolls-Royce’s headquarters on the Goodwood Estate is the
only place in the world where this beautiful rose can be found. These
exquisite flowers are symbols of beauty and elegance, usually coming
into bloom in May, coinciding with this year’s event.

The Phantom Rose, a blousy, creamy-white flower offering a full
bloom of 50 petals and a rich perfume, was designed by British Rose
breeder Philip Harkness, of the award-winning Harkness Roses. This
unique flower took eight years to develop and grows in a specially
designed bed, fringed with lavender. Our team of designers and
artisans have been inspired by its rare beauty for this year’s event.

During London Craft Week, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, will
showcase five remarkable works of craftsmanship which have been
created especially for the occasion.

A ROSE COACHLINE MOTIF
Rolls-Royce’s highly skilled team of artisans working in the
Exterior Surface Finish Centre have taken the forms of the flower and
its leaves as their inspiration for a new Rose Coachline Motif. The
leaves on this motif are painted in Blue Grey and the flower is Arctic
White. The background colour is Sagano Green, named after the famous
bamboo forest near Kyoto in Japan.

ROSE ‘MARQUETRY’ GALLERY
Unique to Phantom, the Gallery along the fascia enables clients
to commission and exhibit works of art in their motor car. For this
year’s event, Rolls-Royce has created a Rose Gallery for Phantom,
meticulously crafted by the interior woodwork specialists at the Home
of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood. The rose motif is formed using beautifully
tessellated marquetry elements.

EMBROIDERED ROSE HEADLINER
Taking inspiration from the Phantom Rose, Rolls-Royce master
embroiderers have created a beautiful and intricate Rose headliner.

EMBROIDERED ROSE DOOR
For this year’s London Craft Week, the highly skilled artisans
at Rolls-Royce have also embroidered a rose inspired artwork onto the
leather of a Phantom door. Along with the headliner, the embroidered
rose features on the door are crafted using a combination of satin and
tatami stitching on the leaves which adds depth to the design. The
petals are made from split-satin stitching to produce softer textures
which capture the light at different angles, which give each petal its
own unique tone of Arctic White thread.

ROSE INSPIRED PICNIC TABLES
The Phantom Rose embellishes an interior high-gloss lacquered
surface – a Rolls-Royce picnic table.

These unique pieces will be displayed in the window of
Rolls-Royce’s flagship showroom, Berkeley Street, Mayfair, from 9-15
May. In addition, the Rolls-Royce residence will be decorated in a
befitting floral fashion, using roses akin to the rare Phantom Rose.

“Over the last twelve months we have welcomed friends of
Rolls-Royce and members of the media into our new flagship residence
in the heart of Mayfair. The showroom is the perfect embodiment of
our brand. Effortless, stylish, contemporary, in tune with our
clients' tastes, requirements and expectations. It is the perfect
environment to offer guests a truly authentic Rolls-Royce
experience.”

Claus Andersen, Brand Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London

One year has passed since Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
opened the doors to its flagship residence in Mayfair and in that time
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London has offered media, patrons and friends
of Rolls-Royce truly unforgettable experiences both at the residence
and at a number of noteworthy locations across the UK. From exclusive
parties and events, to showcasing the pinnacle of contemporary craft
for London Craft Week, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London has enjoyed a
remarkable first year in its new location, in Berkeley Street, W1.

Part of the ongoing success of Rolls-Royce is its in depth
understanding the unique world in which its clients live. Rolls-Royce
clientele are part of an illustrious community that only expects the
best of the best from the brands they interact with, and Rolls-Royce
takes great pride in knowing all their clients personally. The
company’s relationship with clients goes above and beyond a mere
transaction, gradually becoming, a hyper-personalised, close
relationship characterised by high-touch encounters and memorable
experiences, during which clients are invited to draw closer to the brand.

The luxurious yet contemporary design of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
London has received highly positive feedback from patrons and the
media. The flagship residence consolidates Rolls-Royce’s position as a
true House of Luxury, offering clients a premium and wholly immersive
experience from the moment they enter. The entrance to the flagship
showroom is modelled on Rolls-Royce’s famous Pantheon grille. The
doorway is topped by the most famous mascot in the automotive world,
the Spirit of Ecstasy; this is produced by the same maker that creates
all the iconic figurines that grace the bonnet of every single
Rolls-Royce motor car.

Inside a Cabinet of Curiosities is filled with luxurious,
intriguing items and iconic books, designed to provoke ideas and
inspire creativity. Additionally, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London houses
a Speakeasy style bar, which offers a secluded space for clients to
socialise and relax, providing further opportunity to immerse
themselves in the Rolls-Royce experience.

However, the pièce de résistance is the Atelier. A stylish room,
housing samples of surface finishes, wood veneers, leathers,
embroidery threads and numerous lambswool samples and fabrics. This
setting is designed to ignite clients’ imaginations, help
them envisage their dream commission and picture how Rolls-Royce can
bring this to life. Although modern in its aesthetic, this room does
not deviate from Rolls-Royce’s heritage, with the iconic quote by Sir
Henry Royce displayed on the wall: “Strive for perfection in all that
you do. Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not
exist, design it”.

In the year since the opening of the new flagship residence for
the world’s leading luxury brand, Rolls-Royce continues to drive and
shape the future of luxury, providing an exclusive space in which
clients can begin to conceptualise their dream commission.

Some of the memorable experiences and events hosted by
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London include:

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London Opening
Event
After an extensive search for a new home for
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, the flagship residence at the heart of
Mayfair was developed. Meticulous attention to detail was invested
into the design, planning and restoration to ensure a truly befitting
home for the marque’s pinnacle residence. In late September,
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London, held a grand opening party, inviting
clients, friends and the media to celebrate the official opening of
its flagship residence in its new location. The grand opening party
featured Bespoke cocktails, exquisite canapes and live music, and the
unveiling of a unique artwork, a vivid expression of the Rolls-Royce
super luxury SUV, Cullinan, by self-taught artist, Laurence M. White.
Created for the opening event, this stunning and remarkable piece of
art was then auctioned via the marque’s highly exclusive
private-members club, Whispers, with all proceeds going to charity.

London Craft Week
Craftsmanship lies at the very
heart of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and last year, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
London was transformed for the duration of London Craft Week to
showcase the excellent works of craftsmanship created by Rolls-Royce’s
artisans, designers and engineers. For the event, one artisan designed
a highly Bespoke Rolls-Royce bonnet. This design was inspired by the
300,000 English honeybees living in the world’s most exclusive apiary
at the Home of Rolls-Royce on the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex,
together with the Phantom Rose, an English Tea Rose bred especially
for Rolls-Royce and found only at the marque’s headquarters. The
bonnet was installed in the window of the London residence for the
duration of the event. A highly decorative and elaborate display was
installed throughout the showroom, this included: beehives, like those
that house Rolls-Royce’s very own English honeybees; and white roses,
akin to the unique Phantom Rose. In addition, a unique Rolls-Royce
champagne cocktail was created, featuring one of the rarest of
ingredients, Rolls-Royce honey.

In its first year, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London afforded its
clientele truly remarkable experiences, and the marque looks forward
to welcoming more clients past, present and future.

Press Contact: Isabel Matthews
Tel: +447815245127
E-mail: isabel.matthews@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

United Kingdom,Press Release

Claus Andersen, Brand Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, London

Bespoke craftsmanship lies at the very heart of
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, with creativity nurtured and expressed at
every turn.

A highly skilled artisan from the marque’s Exterior Surface
Finish Centre, Allie Knight, has demonstrated her unique talent on a
befitting canvas – a Rolls-Royce Phantom bonnet. Showcased at the
marque’s new global flagship premises in Berkeley Street, Mayfair, the
bonnet will be on display for the duration of this year’s London Craft Week.

Since 2016, the marque’s Global Centre of Luxury Manufacturing
Excellence, located on the Duke of Richmond’s Goodwood Estate on the
edge of the South Downs National Park, has been home to the
Rolls-Royce Apiary – six colonies totalling about 300,000 English honeybees.

The bees forage across the site, and on the Goodwood Estate, to
produce what has become known, worldwide, as ‘the Rolls-Royce of
Honey’. These honeybees and the Phantom Rose – an English Tea Rose
bred especially for Rolls-Royce and found only at the marque’s
headquarters – have been the inspiration for this highly Bespoke bonnet.

For the duration of London Craft Week, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars,
London, will be transformed to showcase the breadth of character
afforded by pinnacle contemporary craft. A global public debut of
this highly Bespoke and unique Rolls-Royce bonnet will be displayed in
the window of Rolls-Royce’s flagship showroom, in the heart of
Mayfair. A unique Champagne cocktail, incorporating Rolls-Royce’s
very own, rare honey, has been designed in collaboration with Perrier
Jouët for this occasion.

Members of the press and public are invited to Rolls-Royce Motor
Cars London, Berkeley Street, Mayfair to view this unique bonnet, on
display from Monday 4th October – Sunday 10th October.

In addition, on 5th October, Allie Knight will be
offering a rare insight into the world of the leading luxury marque
via a LinkedIn stream at 13:00 BST. During the session Allie will
reveal the story behind her work on the Bespoke bonnet.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

NEDCcorr (combined) CO2 emission: 329-328 g/km; Fuel consumption:

Visitors attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed will
experience the global public debut of the Rolls-Royce Wraith Black
Badge Landspeed Collection. Recently announced, the Landspeed
Collection celebrates achievement, innovation and courage,
commemorating the tremendous records set by British engineer, Captain
George Eyston, in Thunderbolt, which was powered by two Rolls-Royce R
V12 aero engines.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge Landspeed Collection will
take to the hillclimb up to four times a day in the exclusive ‘First
Glance’ showcase. Further demonstrating Black Badge’s agility, a
Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge will join the cars in the ‘Michelin
Supercar Run’. Both motor cars can be viewed in the Supercar Paddock
between their scheduled high-speed outings.

Displayed on the Festival’s Laundry Green, adjacent to Goodwood
House, will be a selection of Bespoke commissions – comprising
Phantom, Ghost, Dawn, Wraith and Cullinan – each an expression of an
owner’s aesthetic sensibilities and of the marque’s peerless craftsmanship.

WRAITH BLACK BADGE LANDSPEED COLLECTION

The Wraith Black Badge Landspeed Collection is
presented with a specially created two-tone finish that provides a
visual cue to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah where Eyston pursued
his record-breaking endeavours between 1937 and 1938. This remarkable
Collection Car is presented in a specially created two-tone finish,
which marries Black Diamond Metallic with a Bespoke Bonneville Blue
hue. This specially developed colour bears particular significance to
the Collection, with a colour that transitions under sunlight from
light blue to silver, illustrating the reflections of both the vast
sky over Bonneville and the crisp salt flats on Thunderbolt’s
aluminium body.

Inside, the fissured texture of the Salt Flats is reproduced in
the engraved fascia, while fine perforations on the steering wheel and
driver’s seat mimic the dark line painted onto the stark white surface
used to guide Eyston during his record runs. The Starlight Headliner
precisely depicts the night sky on 16 September 1938, when Eyston set
his third and final land-speed record of 357.497 mph. Silhouettes of
his car, Thunderbolt, and its three record-breaking speeds are
laser-engraved on the front tunnel. Just 35 examples of the Wraith
Black Badge Landspeed Collection will be built.

ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM

Phantom will rightly assume pride of place in
Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke space, honouring its status as the marque’s
flagship. This highly contemporary commission commands attention with
its Silver Haze exterior, while black detailing darkens key portions
of the brightwork – most notably the B-pillar, window surrounds and
the vertical bars of the iconic Pantheon Grille.

For the interior, an imposing black colourway is applied to the
headliner, doors, fascia and carpets – contrasted by Cashmere Grey
panels on the seats and doors, alongside Charles Blue accents for the
seat piping and linings of the door pockets. Phantom affords a unique
opportunity to present an artwork in the Gallery, seamlessly
accommodated within the fascia for its commissioning patrons to enjoy.
A Carbon Veil Gallery, designed by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective,
takes inspiration from the angular, stealth-like shape of fighter jets
– forging it into a design of pure and uncompromising menace. This
aesthetic was then applied to Phantom’s Gallery – fulfilling
Rolls-Royce’s ambition to introduce sharp, angular objects into the
vehicle’s interior with a bold, creative confidence.

ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST

The most technologically advanced Rolls-Royce yet,
the new Ghost is the latest iteration of the most successful product
in the marque’s storied 117-year history.

The exterior’s clean and simple form provides the perfect canvas
for the Submariner Blue surface finish, a deep hue, applied for the
first time to a Rolls-Royce Ghost. Dark 21-inch ‘Shadow’ part-polished
wheels give added presence and ensure the chrome window surround for
the glasshouse becomes a stand-out visual signature. Inside, Grace
White leather reinforces this refined aesthetic, while Navy Blue on
the secondary panels of the seats, steering wheel, lambswool carpet,
seatbelts and stitching details echo the exterior hue. Spanning the
fascia and topping the centre console between the front seats is
Circassian Walnut with a rich open-pore texture that introduces a
natural aura to Ghost’s contemporary cabin.

ROLLS-ROYCE DAWN

Dawn, an emblem of spontaneity, is presented in a
Verde Ermes, a deep Bespoke shade of green. The flanks of its bold
coachwork are underscored by 21-inch wheels rendered in Anthracite
Grey – a feature also recalled on the motor car’s sleek black bonnet.
An Aero Cowling transforms this Dawn into a two-seat roadster,
encouraging the eye into its Casden Tan interior. The aesthetic is
resolved in a two-tone steering wheel, Black with Casden Tan.

ROLLS-ROYCE BLACK BADGE

Designed with more torque, control and power,
Rolls-Royce Black Badge is for those who reject conformity and dare to
be different. Since its introduction, more dynamic patrons of luxury
have responded by pushing the boundaries of the marque’s bold
alter-ego through their own Bespoke commissions. For this year’s
Festival of Speed, Rolls-Royce presents two new powerful creations,
inspired by its clients’ desires.

Since its launch in 2018, Cullinan has embarked on a remarkable
Bespoke journey. The Bespoke Collective of designers, craftspeople and
engineers have, and continue to, bring the visions and desires of the
marque’s discerning patrons to life. A unique Black Badge Cullinan has
been curated in recognition of this journey.

The commission reconciles the unparalleled notions of utility,
power and effortlessness that Black Badge Cullinan embodies. Presented
in a dramatic Iced Magma Red hue, the signature Black Badge design
flourishes, including a Spirit of Ecstasy in high-gloss dark chrome,
blackened exterior brightwork, and exclusive 22-inch part-polished
Black Badge wheels, embolden the exterior aesthetic.

The red theme is carried through to the interior, where Mugello
Red is contrasted against black seating details, carpets and a
Shooting Starlight headliner. The two-tone treatment is also applied
to the Viewing Suite.

The second Black Badge model on display is a Wraith, its Iced
Premiere Silver coachwork creates an almost monochromatic effect
alongside the dark chrome Spirit of Ecstasy and 21-inch Black Badge
wheels. In contrast, the interior colour treatment incorporates the
marque’s vivid Mugello Red highlights.

Additional Rolls-Royce motor cars attending the Festival of
Speed include a Black Badge Cullinan as a Festival Course Safety Car
and a Ghost as a Courtesy Car.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

"Over the past few years, we have been repositioning our
brand and company as a House of Luxury, distinct from an automotive
manufacturer. Our products are individual commissions by singular
clients who expect the very best in all products they purchase. We
now begin the process of bringing our recently announced new visual
identity to life.

“The opening of a new Rolls-Royce dealership is always a great
moment for us; and as a brand founded and based in Great Britain,
London has a key role to play in our global presence. The timing of
the opening of our new flagship store, which proudly displays our
new visual identity is particularly apt, coinciding, as it does,
with the re-opening of UK retail following the recent lockdown. The
concurrent opening of our new re-designed boutique in Shanghai,
acknowledges the importance of the China market to our business.

“Now, with the opening of our new flagship residence in London,
and our showroom in Shanghai, we are able to present our unique
products in the surroundings of a luxurious boutique, befitting of
Rolls-Royce’s position as the manufacturer of the world’s most
precious luxury goods."

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars

In August 2020, Rolls-Royce revealed a new visual
language of luxury with the introduction of a highly contemporary,
fresh brand identity for the marque. Its design and execution was
driven by the brand’s ever-younger client demographic, their lifestyle
and the luxury world that surrounds them, and has subsequently proved
to be the perfect platform to showcase the remarkable products and
experiences created at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West
Sussex. The new visual identity was warmly received by clients and the
company’s global dealer network, while enjoying worldwide accolades in
the media.

The brand’s new visual identity is the latest impulse in the
development of Rolls-Royce as a House of Luxury, distinct from an
automotive manufacturer which has been underway for a number of years.

Rolls-Royce clients are part of an illustrious community that
rightly expects only the very best from the brands they interact with.
Products, experiences, service, quality and personal attention are all
facets of their expectations. Rolls-Royce has a deep understanding of
its clients, their needs and expectations. The company’s relationship
with clients transcends a mere transaction, becoming, over time, a
hyper-personalised, one-to-one relationship characterised by
high-touch encounters during which clients are invited to draw closer
to the brand, along the way gaining exclusive knowledge and insights.

Today, Rolls-Royce is ready to reveal the next major development
on its luxury leadership and client relationship journey.

Rolls-Royce is delighted to announce that its new flagship
residence in the heart of London's Mayfair is now open and ready to
welcome clients past, present and future.

The new showroom, which is located at Berkeley Street, W1,
provides much-needed additional space compared with the marque's
previous, rather cramped location on nearby Berkeley Square. The move
has also provided an opportunity to create a wholly immersive client
experience in line with Rolls-Royce's continuing evolution as a true
global luxury goods brand.

The new, enhanced client experience begins literally at the
front door, which is modelled on Rolls-Royce’s famous Pantheon grille
and provides a discreet, tantalising glimpse of what lies within. The
doorway is topped by an uplit Spirit of Ecstasy, produced by the same
maker as the iconic figurine that graces every Rolls-Royce motor car.
After hours, video projections displayed in the windows, to the right
of the door, create the illusion of continuing life and activity inside.

The interior concept is based on a luxury Galleria shopping
experience. Each Rolls-Royce model enjoys its own dedicated space,
framed and presented according to its distinctive personality and
identity. A kinetic lighting arrangement illuminates the area in which
clients take delivery of their commission, using different sequences
and orientations to create an engaging atmosphere, dependent on the model.

The lounge area features a ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’, displaying
intriguing objects and pieces designed to spark ideas and
conversations as part of the commissioning process. Discussions can
also take place in the 'Speakeasy' bar to the rear of the store. Like
its Prohibition-era namesake, this is a relaxed, comfortable and
secluded space where clients can mix and socialise. More private
still, is the Brand Director’s office, which includes a cutting-edge
configurator for finalising specifications.

The true heart of the store is the Atelier, which houses samples
of surface finishes, wood veneers, leathers, embroidery threads and
numerous lambswool samples and fabrics. Other options on view include
convertible hood fabrics and headliners, plus wheel options. The
surface finish samples are presented in the familiar Rolls-Royce
speedform shape that makes it easy to envisage two-tone colour
combinations; the leathers are rolled on wands with handles from the
iconic Rolls-Royce umbrellas, while the veneers are shaped like the
cross-section of an aerofoil, recalling The Hon Charles Rolls'
exploits in aviation. The sculpted wood presentation table is loosely
modelled on the profile line of Wraith, with the grain directing
attention towards the configurator screen.

In another nod to history, albeit more recent, the social space
within the Atelier is known as the Library. This is a reference to the
code-name given to the design studio where the first Phantom was
created in the early 2000s, as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars came into BMW
Group ownership.

This newly developed visual concept extends to the Rolls-Royce
showroom in Shanghai, China. This important dealership has likewise
been fully re-designed and reflects of the marque’s continuing success
in China and marks the worldwide roll-out of the new concept to all
global Rolls-Royce dealerships.

Claus Andersen, Brand Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London,
"Our new London flagship is a perfect embodiment of our brand:
completely contemporary, effortless and in tune with our clients'
tastes, requirements and expectations, yet fully aligned to our unique
heritage and values. We look forward to welcoming new and existing
clients and sharing an authentic Rolls-Royce experience with them."

Press Contact: Georgina Cox
Tel: +44 (0) 7815 370 878
E-mail: georgina.cox@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Corporate,United Kingdom,Press Release
