"Today’s inauguration of a permanent Private Office in
New York marks a key moment for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the
Americas. Our investment in this office is in response to the
steadily increasing engagement we see from our North American
clients in this region, constantly challenging our designers to
create and develop even more exciting and ambitious commissions. We
look forward to welcoming our clients here, to talk with our
specially trained designers as they bring their ideas to life in
their own, unique Bespoke Rolls-Royce. Private Office New York will
complement and support our regional Dealer Partners by enhancing our
clients’ experiences of Rolls-Royce to new levels.”

Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveils Private Office New
York, the latest creative outpost in a network which already includes
Shanghai and Dubai, as well as the ‘original’ Private Office at the
Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood. A fifth Private Office will open in
Seoul by the end of the year.

This global network of Private Offices has been created to
enable the marque to engage even more closely with its global
clientele, offering clients a taste of Goodwood nearer their home.
Rolls-Royce clients are increasingly ambitious in their desire to
create ever more elaborate and deeply personal Bespoke motor cars and
the Private Offices offer them opportunities to do just this,
complementing the conventional dealership experience to further embed
the marque’s reputation as the world’s most client-focused luxury brand.

As Rolls-Royce’s largest market for two decades, North America
has seen a dramatic increase in Bespoke complexity and creativity over
the past three years. Private Office New York is opening in response
to this demand and will further elevate the value of each commission
in this key region, supporting the marque’s driving principle of
focusing on value creation rather than sales volume.

Rolls-Royce Private Office New York is in the heart of New York
City’s vibrant and increasingly luxury-focused Meatpacking District.
Available by appointment, it offers North American clients the
opportunity to interact directly with a US-based designer and
specialist client experience manager. Through conversation and
research, the Private Office experts work with the client to
understand their wishes, desires and dreams. The luxurious studio
houses a vast array of samples: fabrics, paints, leathers, and
textiles in diverse colours and finishes as well as locally-sourced
artworks and artefacts, curated to inspire the creative process.
During this process, designers and clients work together to create a
unique Rolls-Royce which reflects the individual’s tastes and
personality. Once the initial design is agreed upon, they will
together follow the progress of the commission and communicate
directly with the artisans in Goodwood, who are entrusted with
transforming the visions into a one-of-one masterpiece.

Private Office New York will also give clients access to future
Rolls-Royce Private Collections. These exclusive, themed collections
highlight the Bespoke Collective’s artistry, with each project
extending inspiring narratives through craft, design, and engineering.
They act as showcases for the marque’s creative and technical
capabilities, thereby inspiring clients to ever-more elaborate
personal creations.

Press Contact: Marius Tegneby
Tel: +447815246106
E-mail: marius.tegneby@rolls-roycemotorcars.com

Regional,Corporate,Press Release,The Americas

illustrated by these vibrant and spirited commissions.”

Martin Fritsches, President of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Americas

As luxury car aficionados convene on California’s
Monterey Peninsula for the 70th gathering of Monterey Car
Week, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars showcases two unique Bespoke commissions
to celebrate the occasion. With a stunning display at ‘The Quail, A
Motorsports Gathering,’ the world’s leading luxury brand highlights
the latest member of the Rolls-Royce family, Ghost, alongside the
sought-after Cullinan Black Badge.

ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST

Ghost, the latest iteration of the most successful
product in the marque’s 117-year history, is shown this year in
Monterey with a bold, colorful finish of Bespoke Friskee Pink. For the
first time, this unique color adorns the pure and minimalist form
provided by the ‘Post Opulent’ design of Ghost.

Complementing this lively color choice is a restful Navy Blue
and Arctic White leather interior that incorporates highlights of a
new Rolls-Royce leather hue, Shieda. This bright and bold magenta pink
accentuates the long, unbroken lines throughout the cabin, for which
Ghost is known. Stitching details in Shieda are found on Ghost’s
seats, headrests and leather-encased indicator stalks. Each elegant
detail has been considered and thoughtfully placed.

Engineered around the dedicated Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
Architecture of Luxury, Ghost features a combination of reductionist
design and state of the art technology. Underneath the refined
exterior, Ghost is the most technologically advanced Rolls-Royce yet.
The new Planar suspension system integrates a unique front upper
wishbone damper, Flagbearer digital suspension management and the
world’s most advanced Satellite Aided Transmission to deliver the most
refined driving experience ever.

ROLLS-ROYCE CULLINAN BLACK BADGE

Black Badge is designed for the Rolls-Royce patron
who rejects conformity and dares to be different. With a bolder,
darker aesthetic, this series of motor cars invites clients to push
the boundaries of Bespoke design to match their personality. Yet,
Black Badge offers more than alluring design. The marque’s engineers
have created a Bespoke dynamic treatment that generates more torque,
control and power.

This Cullinan Black Badge features a dramatic Iced Turchese
exterior with signature Black Badge detailing, creating a bold and
progressive statement. Inside, the colorway is reversed, with swathes
of Black leather highlighted with Turchese leather. A Bespoke Turchese
lemniscate logo, often described as the ‘infinity’ symbol and the
hallmark of Black Badge products, seamlessly blends with the Technical
Carbon Veneer and remaining interior elements.

Rolls-Royce Ghost in Friskee Pink and Cullinan Black Badge in
Iced Turchese can be seen at ‘The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering’, on
Friday, August 13, 2021.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

“Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus is a motor car for those who shape the
world as they seek their own place in the universe. They understand
that whatever our individual gifts, talents, and opportunities, we
are all gifted time – and it is up to us to make the most of every
precious moment. With Phantom Tempus, we have created a space in
which the strictures of time no longer apply – as illustrated by the
deliberate absence of a clock. Rolls-Royce clients are not bound by
time; the outside world with all its pressures and demands are
forgotten. We offer our congratulations to Glenn and Gigi Moss, not
only on their years together, but also on these two beautiful
Rolls-Royces, commissioned to mark this special occasion.”

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

“I could think of no better way to mark a special moment in time
in Gigi and my life together than with this duo of Rolls-Royce
commissions. The beauty of commissioning a Rolls-Royce is in making
it personal and intimate. Phantom Tempus provided us with a
wonderful canvas to personalize the painting of our lives together.
And the addition of the Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge commission is a
statement to celebrate the fact that we will carry our passion for
life long into the future. Some things are timeless, and this is
what we celebrate."

Glenn L. Moss Sr

Rolls-Royce Phantom, the marque’s pinnacle product,
resides at the apex of the luxury world. Producing a Collection Car is
always a seminal moment for the marque. With the Phantom Tempus
Collection, the sources of inspiration are on an appropriately grand
scale: time, deep space, and a theoretical physicist who changed the
way to see the universe. Only 20 examples of this stunning Bespoke
creation have been built at Rolls-Royce’s Global Center of Luxury
Manufacturing Excellence in West Sussex, England.

To mark a very special moment in time, their 40th anniversary,
Riverside California residents Glenn and Gigi Moss, have commissioned
one of these rare and spectacular cars for themselves. Their Phantom
Tempus was delivered to them at an exclusive celebration, together
with a special Bespoke Dawn Black Badge. The beautiful pair of Bespoke
Rolls-Royce’s were delivered to Mr. and Mrs. Moss by Rolls-Royce Motor
Cars Orange County.

The inspiration for this pair of Bespoke commissions arose from
the Moss’ desire to celebrate the moment in time at which their life
together began. The Phantom Tempus’ Bespoke Spirit of Ecstasy is made
of solid silver, with the location and date the couple first met in
1976 engraved into the base of the statuette. Additionally,
latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates mark the precise location.
Discreetly etched into the base of the black carbon fiber Spirit of
Ecstasy which graces the prow of the Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge, is
the date and location where the couple wed in 1981.

Phantom Tempus
One of 20 for Glenn L. Moss Sr

The exterior of Mr. Moss’ Phantom Tempus is presented in a
bright and stunning Crystal over Arctic White. The couple chose the
bright color to signify the light and infinite nature of time in their
marriage. This brilliant finish is highlighted by a hand-painted black
coachline, and detailing.

Upon opening the coach doors, an illuminated treadplate reads,
‘Phantom Tempus Collection – Hand built in Goodwood England for Glenn
L. Moss Sr.’ The interior of the Moss Phantom Tempus carries over the
‘light’ theme with Arctic White hand-crafted leather offset by black
highlights, piping, and contrast stitching. The fascia is finished in
black Sparkle Piano reminiscent of the deep darkness of space
glittering with the timeless brightness of the constellations.

Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge
Bespoke for Gigi Moss

In addition to creating a very personal Phantom Tempus, Mr. Moss
asked the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to
create a singular Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge for Mrs. Moss. With an
exterior finish of Crystal over Bright Red, the vibrant swathe of
color stands in stark contrast to the bright white hues of the Phantom
Tempus. Equipped with a Bespoke Aero Cowling, the four-seater
convertible quickly and stylishly transforms into a sleek two-seater roadster.

The Spirit of Ecstasy that adorns the bonnet is milled from
black, high-gloss carbon fiber. This transformation to a darker
aesthetic extends to certain chrome surfaces including the front
grille surround, luggage compartment lid finisher, exhaust pipes and
air inlet finisher. The ‘Double R’ signifiers on the Rolls-Royce
badges are inverted in color, a key signifier that this car is a
Rolls-Royce Black Badge model, representing the alter ego of the
brand. The car’s rims are created using 22 layers of carbon fiber
folded and formed to provide an aggressive style.

Complementing the treadplate of Phantom Tempus, the treadplate
for this Dawn Black Badge reads ‘Hand built in Goodwood England for
Gigi Moss’. The hand-crafted interior of the car is finished in full
natural grain leather with black highlights and piping. The
Rolls-Royce monogram is embroidered on each headrest as is the
‘Unlimited’ infinity logo which is embroidered on the Dawn’s
upholstery. The centrepiece of the Black Badge cabin is the
aerospace-grade, aluminum-threaded carbon fiber composite surfacing
material. The air vents are darkened using the Physical Vapor
Deposition process. This surfacing method is utilized to ensure that
the parts will neither discolor nor tarnish over time.

This Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge commission provides a
stunning, darker ‘alter-image’ to the light and infinite nature of
Phantom Tempus, leaving the couple with a lasting memory of their very
special relationship.

Press Contact: Gerry Spahn
Tel: +1-201-930-8308
E-mail: gerry.spahn@rolls-roycemotorcarsna.com

Regional,Press Release,The Americas

Ben & Christine Sloss, car enthusiasts by
day and endurance racers on the weekends, took delivery today of their
latest Bespoke Rolls-Royce commission from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Los Gatos.

The Sloss’s new Black Badge Cullinan is finished in a unique
Bespoke colourway, Pikes Peak Blue, created to their personal
specification by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective. The name is an
homage to the legendary Colorado hill-climb, which is one of their
favourite races. Combined with the vivid flashes of Forge Yellow on
the hand-painted coachline, wheel-centre pinstripes and brake
callipers, it carries the colors of the flag of Modena, the northern
Italian province, and the livery carried by all the couple’s racing cars.

The Black Badge variant brings out the darker, edgier, more
assertive side of Cullinan’s character. Mr. and Mrs. Sloss’s car
includes the signature silver-on-black ‘RR’ monogram, dark window
surrounds and custom two-tone Black Badge wheels. To underline the
car’s performance credentials, the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy atop the
dark Pantheon grille is milled from a solid billet of carbon fibre.
Greeting the driver upon opening the front doors are personalized
Black Badge tread plates designed to match the Black Badge logo, each
plate underwent a precise Physical Vapor Deposition coating process in
Black and then engraved to reveal the silver metal of the client’s
name – Benjamin on the Driver’s side, Christine on the Passenger’s side.

Inside, the seats are hand-crafted in navy-blue leather with
accent stitching and monograms in Forge Yellow; similar contrast
highlights appear on the fascia, door pockets and even the face of the
brushed metal Bespoke clock. The Bespoke Technical Clock was created
with Navy Blue Anodised brushed stainless steel surround and accented
with Forge Yellow. The subtle accents with Forge Yellow highlights

Rolls-Royce’s Black Badge motor cars respond to a subset of
clients who connect with the marque with wilfully disruptive
intentions. They seek to subvert expected codes of luxury and create
highly Bespoke and unapologetic symbols of their lifestyles. Cullinan
Black Badge was created for this group of remarkable men and women,
many of whom have come to describe the Black Badge aesthetic and
philosophy as an automotive subculture in its own right: one defined
by uncompromised luxury, unrelenting power and darkness.

To celebrate the arrival of this transformative motor car,
automotive culture photographer, Mark Riccioni, was invited by
Rolls-Royce to create a pictorial series of Black Badge Cullinan
greeting fellow automotive subcultures in Greater Los Angeles,
California. Following his assemblage of these exceptional vehicles,
each of which acutely represents the subculture it belongs to, he
captured each encounter under the cover of darkness.

Riccioni says, “The things that connect us are always more
powerful than the things that separate us, and this series is a
wonderful demonstration of that. I selected each subculture because it
shares the philosophies that inform the creation of a Black Badge
Rolls-Royce. From the obsessive attention to detail lavished on a
lowrider and visceral power of a hot rod to the bold execution of
tuned imports and deeply personal customisations applied to
‘brat’-style motorcycles.”

To assist with this extraordinary project, the Bespoke
Collective of designers, engineers and craftspeople at the Home of
Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex, created a unique Recreation
Module for Riccioni’s endeavour. The unit, Internally codenamed ‘Urban
Photography’, was conceived to incorporate equipment specific to his
photography requirements. These include a DJI Mavic Mini drone,
12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro and 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro for image
capture and editing on location.

In addition, items requested by Riccioni were included, such as
Sennheiser PXC550 MkII noise cancelling headphones, Persol PO3225-S
sunglasses, outerwear from streetwear brand Supreme and a water
bottle. The automated Recreation Module was expertly trimmed in Forge
Yellow leather to match the Black Badge Cullinan’s interior colourway.

A gallery of these images, titled ‘King of the Night’, will be
on display at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Beverly Hills, 8833 W Olympic
Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 from March 2020 prior to an exclusive
Rolls-Royce Black Badge private event.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

Collection’. Inspired by the hills, sand and sea surrounding Pebble
Beach, this year’s collection is the most colorful yet. The Collection
includes 13 beautiful Bespoke Commissions, offered exclusively for the
clients attending Monterey Car Week 2019, and will be revealed at a
series of exclusive activities hosted by the luxury brand throughout
the week.

The collection is headlined by the brand’s flagship, Phantom.
Rolls-Royce Bespoke designers have cloaked this Phantom in a
shimmering Black Diamond and Gold Bespoke exterior. The interior
features the Rolls-Royce Phantom Gallery, an individuality available
in no other motor car in the world, designed to house personalized art
making the Phantom an extension of its owner’s art and design
collection. The ‘Best Car in the World’ raised the bar of luxury with
the introduction of the new Rolls-Royce ‘Architecture of Luxury’ which
delivers the ‘Magic Carpet Ride’, defining Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Cullinan marks its second year at Pebble Beach with some of the
most extensive Bespoke designs in the ‘Pebble Beach 2019 Collection’.
The four vehicles on display during the week feature colors including
Burnout Grey, Black Green, Iced Gunmetal and Galilea Blue. The iced
finish showcases one of the most popular innovations from the paint
specialists at Rolls-Royce. The subtle finish offers the solid effect
of matte colors with an elegant shine. Color innovations are nothing
new to a design group that has built finishes using glass, silver,
gold and even diamonds for Bespoke Commissions.

The ‘Pebble Beach 2019 Pastel Collection’ – Black Badge goes
beyond Black
Following recent years of alternating
drought, fire and rain, the Monterey Peninsula this year is awash in
seas of colorful wildflowers. Highlighting this year’s debuts are a
trio of Bespoke motor cars showcasing the creative color capabilities
of the artisan designers in Goodwood, Home of Rolls-Royce. The Pastel
Collection draws upon painter’s palette of colors from this year’s
‘wildflower superbloom’ on the Monterey Peninsula. The collection
includes three one-of-one Black Badge Commissions adding new colors to
the Rolls-Royce Bespoke palette and reaffirming the idea that a
Rolls-Royce Black Badge doesn’t have to be black.

The collection starts with Ghost Black Badge in Light Green
Solid, a new Bespoke exterior finish. The pastel green represents the
rebirth of the flora on the peninsula following the years of drought
and fire. The hand-crafted leather interior is Black with a striking
Serenity Green splash highlighting the iconic Black Badge technical Fiber.

The drophead creation among the collection is Dawn Black Badge
in Coral Solid which showcases the Bespoke finish that can only come
after seven coats of paint and more than nine hours of hand polishing
in the Surface Finish Centre at the Home of Rolls-Royce, Goodwood. The
new pastel color carries over to the Bespoke Aero Cowling, giving Dawn
a colorful yet aggressive exterior. The Dawn Black Badge interior is
finished in Artic White and Sunset carrying over the visual imagery of
the blooming northern California hills and valleys.

The final piece of the trio is Wraith Black Badge in Semaphore
Yellow, a bright and sunny finish for the most powerful member of the
Rolls-Royce family. Wraith Black Badge features a Selby Grey and Lemon
interior with the iconic Rolls-Royce Black Badge Starlight Headliner.
The ‘Rolls-Royce 2019 Pastel Collection’ presents Black Badge unlike
you’ve ever seen before.

This collection showcases the alter ego of Rolls-Royce Bespoke
as the brand highlights the potential of its Black Badge Bespoke
offer. The combined skills of the Bespoke craftspeople from the Home
of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, and the rebellious spirit of
Black Badge has propelled the brand into the 21st century
appealing to the risk-taker who is not afraid to embrace a bold and
progressive statement of true and modern luxury, in an aggressive
form. All Black Badge commissions feature a stunning technical fiber
fascia and interior accents as well as custom Black Badge Bespoke
Starlight Headliners and Bespoke ‘Pebble Beach 2019 – special
commission’ treadplates.

“Every year, thousands of Rolls-Royce patrons come together for
Monterey Car Week. It’s one of our most important family gatherings
around the world, especially for our American owners. This year we
present the largest offering of Rolls-Royce motor cars ever and in the
most vivid Bespoke colors and configurations in history. Each and
every commission has been created by the designers and craftspeople at
the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, working with the finest leather,
wood and precious materials. It’s thrilling to introduce the 2019
Pebble Beach Collection as the world gathers to view the classics the
brand has created over the past 115 years.” Martin Fritsches,
President of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America.

The full family on display
The full collection
of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars on display includes one Phantom, four
Cullinans, four Dawns, two Ghosts and two Wraiths. The special
vehicles will be on display at ‘Quail, A Motorsports Gathering’ as
well as at the exclusive Rolls-Royce Villa in Carmel.

CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.
